Corner Type Air Shower

The Corner Type Air Shower is built for cleanrooms whose entry does not fall on a straight wall. Instead of a rectangular box with two doors opposite each other, the cabin is laid out around a building corner so the two doors meet at a right angle, and operators turn through the booth rather than walk straight through. Inside, the decontamination loop works like a standard air shower: the fan draws air through a primary filter and a HEPA filter and discharges it as a high-velocity clean stream from the nozzle banks, the blown-off dust returns through the return path for re-filtering, and the cycle is managed by a smart control panel. An infrared sensor starts the shower automatically, an electronic interlock keeps the corner doors from opening together, and a voice prompt guides the operator. The body is welded in 201 or 304 stainless steel, and the door positions can be arranged to follow the on-site structural corner. Even though the path turns through ninety degrees, the operator is met by one jet wall on entry and the opposite wall on the turn, so the sensor-controlled, interlocked cycle still delivers multi-direction blowing around the whole corner.

The reason to buy a corner booth is architectural, not just technical: in a retrofit cleanroom the corridor often turns exactly where the entry needs to go, and a rectangular shower forces the designer either to waste a stretch of straight wall or to knock out part of the structure to make the booth fit. Routing the doors around the existing corner lets the entry occupy the land already lost to the turn, which saves floor area and avoids demolition and wall reconstruction. Because we arrange the door layout against the real building structure rather than selling one fixed footprint, the booth lands where the architect had no usable straight wall.
