Stainless Steel Medical Cupboard

Stainless Steel Medical Cupboard

A stainless steel medical cupboard is a purpose-built storage unit for medical instruments, laboratory equipment, and hand tools in hospital and research settings. It is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a stable cabinet body and a finely treated surface that is easy to clean and corrosion resistant. The cupboard is offered in two installation forms - built-in (recessed into the wall) and surface-mounted - so it can be integrated flush with the cleanroom wall where floor space is tight, or stood freely where a recess is not available.

Product Description

A stainless steel medical cupboard is a purpose-built storage unit for medical instruments, laboratory equipment, and hand tools in hospital and research settings. It is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a stable cabinet body and a finely treated surface that is easy to clean and corrosion resistant. The cupboard is offered in two installation forms - built-in (recessed into the wall) and surface-mounted - so it can be integrated flush with the cleanroom wall where floor space is tight, or stood freely where a recess is not available. Doors are upper and lower sliding doors, which slide horizontally instead of swinging into the corridor and divide the interior into separate zones for classified storage of different instrument groups. Two height levels are available, the regular version and the tall version, matching different wall heights and storage volumes. Finished outer dimensions cover 900 x 350 x 1300 mm and 900 x 350 x 1700 mm, with matching wall-opening cutout sizes of 870 x 350 x 1270 mm and 870 x 350 x 1670 mm.
In a hospital or lab renovation, the hardest part of fitting a built-in cupboard is not the cabinet itself but getting the wall opening right. If the contractor frames the recess to a guessed size, the cupboard either jams in the opening or leaves an ugly gap that must be patched with stainless trim. To remove that risk, this line is quoted as a matched pair: the finished outer dimension (900 x 350 x 1300 or 1700 mm) and the corresponding wall cutout (870 x 350 x 1270 or 1670 mm) are supplied together, so the civil team frames the wall to a known size. The upper and lower sliding doors then save corridor space that a hinged door would consume, which is a real benefit in operating-room auxiliary passages where staff and carts pass constantly.

Applications

  • Operating rooms and medical auxiliary areas. The built-in form sits flush with the wall and the non-swinging sliding doors keep instruments accessible without blocking staff passage.
  • Biological and food-testing laboratories. The 304 stainless, finely finished surface wipes down easily after reagent or sample handling, supporting lab hygiene routines.
  • Pharma and research instrument rooms. Upper and lower sliding doors divide tools and instruments into classified zones, keeping frequently used items orderly.

  • Built-in or surface-mounted form
  • Regular (1300 mm) or tall (1700 mm) height

Packaging & Transportation

Our stainless steel cabinets and sinks are delivered EXW (ex-works, our factory). Every unit goes through a pre-delivery inspection that covers material, welds, surface finish, and moving parts before it leaves the workshop. Products are then packed in standard protective wrapping suitable for inland container and truck transport arranged by the buyer. For customized orders, production progress (order, manufacturing, inspection, packing, loading) can be shared by photos or video on request. We do not arrange ocean freight, air freight, express, DDP or CIF terms; the buyer handles international logistics from our facility.

FAQ

Q: Can you manufacture the cupboard to our drawings and wall opening?

A: Yes. We supply the finished outer dimensions together with the matching wall cutout sizes so the civil works can frame the recess correctly, within our existing built-in cabinet technology.

Q: What payment terms do you accept?

A: We work EXW. For standard orders a 50% deposit is paid on signing the contract and the 50% balance before shipment; for customized orders it is 60% deposit and 40% before shipment.

Q: What is the lead time?

A: Standard units take about 10 working days. Customized dimensions are confirmed after technical discussion.
