Mineral Wool Insulated Panel

The PU Cold Room Panel is a color-coated steel faced sandwich panel with a polyurethane (PU) foam core, continuously formed on a machine line into a single insulated building envelope. During production the PU foam is injected and foamed between two pre-formed color-coated steel skins, bonding them into one rigid composite so the core and face move together rather than delaminating.

Product Description

The PU Cold Room Panel is a color-coated steel faced sandwich panel with a polyurethane (PU) foam core, continuously formed on a machine line into a single insulated building envelope. During production the PU foam is injected and foamed between two pre-formed color-coated steel skins, bonding them into one rigid composite so the core and face move together rather than delaminating. The PU core has a low thermal conductivity and a closed-cell structure, which gives the panel strong heat insulation and a continuous vapor barrier while keeping overall weight moderate compared with dense masonry. The two color-coated steel skins present a flat, smooth, easy-to-clean surface that resists dust and wipes down to food and pharmaceutical hygiene standards. The factory-rolled tongue-and-groove edge lets crews interlock panels quickly into tight, even seams; the matched male and female profiles also reduce thermal bridging at the joint. Length is produced to order so that wall, roof and partition runs can be laid with minimal offcut. The finished panel gives a neat, factory-controlled face on both the interior and exterior sides, and the cut-to-order lengths leave little waste on a tight construction schedule.

The buyer decision here is fire and acoustic performance rather than maximum insulation: inorganic rockwool carries almost no fuel contribution, which matters on buildings near evacuation routes, equipment rooms or public assembly spaces, and the same fiber layer damps machinery and traffic noise that would travel through a foam panel. Machine lamination keeps the panel cost-competitive and dimensionally consistent over large industrial roof and wall runs, so you are paying for fire behavior and sound damping without the added price of a hand-built reinforced structure. For a specifier, the practical advantage is a single stock-width board that satisfies the fire clause of a building code while still being light and quick to erect, so specifiers avoid carrying two different panel inventories on one project. For a contractor tendering an industrial or public building, this simplifies the bill of quantities and keeps the site supply chain to one familiar panel.

Applications

  • Industrial plants and warehouse envelopes - The inorganic rockwool core adds fire and acoustic damping to large roof/wall areas at a competitive machine-line cost.
  • Public and purification engineering buildings - Non-combustible core supports fire containment where code demands it, while the smooth face stays cleanable.
  • Hospital and clean areas - The fire-tolerant, dust-resistant panel suits hygienic zones that also need a degree of fire safety.

Customization

Total thickness, steel gauge and core can be adjusted; length is cut to order.

Packaging & Transportation

The panels are sold EXW (ex-works, picked up at our factory). Every order goes through pre-delivery inspection before it leaves the plant, and is packed with standard protective material to keep the color-coated faces flat and undamaged during inland transport. Production progress (order, production, inspection, packing and loading) can be reported to you with photos or video on request.

FAQ

Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A: For panel products the MOQ is 300 square meters. Larger orders qualify for volume discounts.

Q: How do you control quality?

A: We source quality raw materials, monitor production in process, and run a final inspection on every finished batch before delivery.

Q: What payment and trade terms do you accept?

A: Trade term is EXW (ex-works). For standard orders a 50% deposit is paid on contract signing and the 50% balance before shipment; for customized orders it is 60% deposit / 40% before shipment.
