Handmade Glass Magnesium Board

The Handmade Glass Magnesium Board is a color-coated steel faced panel with a magnesium-oxide core and internal reinforcing keels, hand-assembled. The MGO material delivers strong structural stability, excellent flatness and cleanroom-grade surface performance, and because the board is built by hand, dimensions and internal structure can be adjusted around the space rather than around a fixed machine width. Internal keels are positioned where the room needs extra support, and cut lengths follow the actual wall and ceiling layout. This makes the board suitable for irregular rooms, long spans and non-standard specifications. It joints firmly with a male-female slot or aluminum center profile and can be paired with cleanroom door and window profiles for a complete, sealed envelope with door heads, window reveals and corner trims, so the whole room finishes as one coordinated system in 50 to 100 mm thickness. The cut-to-order lengths fit the actual wall and ceiling geometry, and the firm joint keeps the cleanroom airtight, with no on-site filler to maintain.

The reason to hand-build an MGO board is layout freedom: internal structure and cut lengths are tuned to the actual room - odd angles, large bays, non-standard openings - which a fixed-width machine panel cannot follow. For electronics, pharma and cosmetics cleanrooms with complex geometry, this removes the offcut and filler problem of forcing standard panels into custom spaces, and the matching door and window trims keep the seal continuous. You are paying for made-to-measure cleanroom architecture rather than a stronger insulation core, and the benefit to procurement is less on-site cutting and a cleaner, tighter envelope on first fix, which shortens the handover to the cleanroom certification team and reduces snagging work that delays sign-off.
