Built-in Pass Through Window

Built-in Pass Through Window

The Built-in Pass Through Window is the transfer box designed to sit inside the wall rather than bolted onto its face. The cabinet is recessed into the partition during cleanroom construction, so once the wall is closed up the box sits flush with both sides and no cabinet body protrudes into the corridor or the room. Functionally it is a standard transfer window: a stainless box with an interlock that keeps the two doors from opening at the same time, a double-sided viewing window to confirm contents before opening, and the option of a built-in UV disinfection lamp.

Product Description

The Built-in Pass Through Window is the transfer box designed to sit inside the wall rather than bolted onto its face. The cabinet is recessed into the partition during cleanroom construction, so once the wall is closed up the box sits flush with both sides and no cabinet body protrudes into the corridor or the room. Functionally it is a standard transfer window: a stainless box with an interlock that keeps the two doors from opening at the same time, a double-sided viewing window to confirm contents before opening, and the option of a built-in UV disinfection lamp. The interlock can be mechanical or electronic, and the cabinet is built in 201 or 304 stainless steel, with standard outer sizes running from the 400-type to the 1200-type to match common panel wall openings. Once the wall is sealed around the box, the junction between the cabinet frame and the panel finishes flush on both faces, and servicing the lamp or interlock is reached from the room face rather than from inside the wall.

The installation difference is the whole reason to buy this version. A surface-mounted pass box sticks a metal box out into the aisle, and in a working cleanroom that protruding corner is exactly where passing carts, trollies and stretchers catch - both as a collision hazard and as a dust ledge that the cleaning crew has to work around. Embedding the box inside the wall keeps the corridor width clear and leaves a flat, continuous surface that wipes in one sweep. Because we size the cabinet and the wall cutout together across the 400-to-1200-type range, it lands flush against the buyer's own panel wall thickness instead of leaving an exposed frame on either face. It also simplifies qualification, because the joint between equipment and structure becomes one flat line that is easy to photograph and inspect.

Applications

  • Hospital clean wards - A flush transfer point lets nurses pass samples and consumables through the wall without a box projecting into the ward circulation.
  • GMP pharmaceutical rooms - Embedded units integrate with the cleanroom panel wall so there is no protruding ledge to complicate validation and cleaning.
  • Electronics cleanrooms - Where material trolleys move through narrow aisles, a flush pass box keeps the aisle clear instead of reducing the usable width.

Customization

Cabinet size across the 400-to-1200-type range to match the wall opening, 201 or 304 stainless steel, mechanical or electronic interlock, and the optional UV lamp can be specified.

Packaging & Transportation

Goods are delivered under EXW (ex-works) terms from our Suzhou workshop. Every unit goes through quality raw-material inspection, in-process monitoring during assembly, and a full pre-delivery inspection before it leaves the factory. Units are packed with standard protective packaging suitable for inland road transport; buyers arrange and take responsibility for onward freight once goods are collected.

FAQ

Q: Can you manufacture based on our drawings?

A: We match the embedded cabinet and cutout to your wall opening within the 400-to-1200-type range; we do not develop brand-new products.

Q: Can I visit the factory?

A: Overseas sample mailing is not supported, but buyers are welcome to visit our Suzhou workshop to see the embedded units before ordering.

Q: What is the lead time?

A: Standard embedded units are about 10 working days; a box matched to a non-standard wall thickness is confirmed after discussion.
